The Robinair 34988NI-SL is a fully automatic premium R-134a ACS machine with an integrated scale lock, designed for mobile service. The mechanical scale lock eliminates the need to recalibrate your refrigerant scale after transporting the machine long distances, saving time. Accessible from outside the machine, the lock secures the scale, preventing damage or inaccurate refrigerant measurement. The internal tank stays on the scale during transport. 

A safe startup feature prevents the machine from powering on if the lock is engaged. Extra-long 12' hoses make mobile service easier. An indicator light reminds technicians to lock the scale before transport, while special tie-down points and guidelines ensure your machine is safe and secure for mobile service.

The 34988NI-SL combines ease of use and superior accuracy. It recovers, recycles, evacuates, leak tests and recharges R-134a vehicle systems quickly and accurately. The fully automatic function will recover, vacuum, leak test and charge on its own without the need to stand and monitor the machine. The product is fully SAE J2788 compliant and exceeds the requirements for charge accuracy and recovery efficiency. Robinair's patented automatic refrigerant refill feature maintains a user-selectable amount of refrigerant in the internal vessel and signals when it’s time to change supply tank, no monitoring required. The machine will automatically add oil if necessary using load cells that measure the amount of oil removed from the system and automatically putting the right amount of A/C lubricant back into the system, making the 34988NI-SL the only true fully automatic machine available today.
